Been coming here for years and it does not disappoint. If you want authentic Mexican enchiladas, this is your place. The building is small and it gets busy on the weekends.. patience is key and it's worth it. It's nice to see a business that has stuck to its same, delicious menu, and hasn't jacked the prices up. My order yesterday was three enchiladas and two fried tacos and a chicken breast.. delicious.

Delicious food and very friendly staff! We eat here almost every weekend and love it every single time! It can be hard to get them on the phone to place to-go orders sometimes but you just have to be persistent because they're very busy and can't always keep up with the line out the door and the phones. The tostadas are my favorite over all and the beans and rice!

People need to understand that this a true authentic restaurant and food that is specifically from Guerrero. It's not going to be your usual Tex-Mex and nothing like any other authentic Mexican restaurant here. I love this food and enjoy eating here. The "blaring Spanish channel" isn't even loud. Welcome to the North sis lol

Nothing fancy about the building but don't let that stop you. The food is amazing! Order the beef tostadas, you won't be disappointed. THIS IS NOT TEX-MEX, it's the real deal. My son faithfully orders the beef torta, it's on a hoagie-like bread called a "bolillo" with carne asada (beef), onion, lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese and avocado. My husband orders the beef quesadilla and swears by it. Don't do this restaurant a disservice by comparing it to Tex-Mex, they are two very different types of cuisine. Order an Agua Fresca, I prefer Agua de Melon (fresh melon water). Use the salsa and crema (cream) they set on the table, Thank me later. P.S. This place is so good that when they close for their holiday breaks, I wait patiently until they reopen. They're worth it. And I live 45 minutes away.

This is a unique little restaurant in Tyler. Enchiladas is in the name and this is the main item on the menu. However, the enchiladas are not Tex-mex chili con carne type that you find at every other Mexican restaurant. These are interior Mexico style. Thin corn tortilla stuffed with cheese (mozzarella, parmesan, queso fresco, etc) then topped with one of four delicious sauces, shredded cabbage and a grilled chicken quarter. That's right, a grilled chicken quarter. There are no beef enchiladas. Just chicken. We had the roja and the verde enchiladas. Wow, outstanding flavors and texture. The chicken perfectly complimented the sauces. The shredded cabbage, sauce, and cheese were excellent companions. I can't stress enough how good these were. The carne asada tacos were a very pleasant surprise. Grilled pieces of streak on a corn tortilla topped with shredded cabbage and avocados. Simple and delicious. They have hard shell tacos, soups, and quesadillas on the limited menu. However, do yourself a favor and try the carne asada tacos and enchiladas. You won't be disappointed. The place itself is in the middle of nowhere and it's a bit of a dive in terms of atmosphere. But the food easily earns 5 stars. You know it's good because there is a steady stream of customers waiting in line for takeout. If you're craving an authentic interior Mexican meal, this is it.
